THE 4TH AIR FORCE GLOBAL STRIKE COMMAND TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION SYMPOSIUM KICKED OFF NOVEMBER
4TH. IT’S PART OF THE GLOBAL STRIKE CHALLENGE, A COMPETITIVE EVENT WHERE THE TOP SECURITY
FORCES, MAINTAINERS, AND MISSILE AND BOMBER CREWS ARE RECOGNIZED AS THE “BEST OF THE BEST”
IN THEIR SPECIALTIES. ——–
IN SUPPORT OF THE AIR FORCE ENERGY STRATEGIC PLAN TO FOSTER AN ENERGY-AWARE CULTURE AND
REDUCE AVIATION FUEL CONSUMPTION, AN INSTRUCTOR PILOT FROM THE 5TH FLYING TRAINING SQUADRON
INTRODUCED SOME INNOVATIVE IDEAS TO MAKE PILOT TRAINING MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT. THIS IS A
GREAT STEP TOWARD THE AIR FORCE’S GOAL TO ACHIEVE A 10 PERCENT FUEL USAGE REDUCTION. THAT DOES IT FOR THE HEADLINES, I’M STAFF
