RICHARD. THE TRANSIT CENTER AT JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS
NOW HAS A CONTROLLED MONITORING AREA TO COMFORTABLY HOUSE AND SERVE MILITARY PERSONNEL RETURNING
FROM MISSIONS COMBATTING THE EBOLA VIRUS IN WEST AFRICA. THOSE SERVICEMEMEBERS MUST UNDERGO
A 21-DAY CONTROLLED MONITORING PROGRAM WHERE THEY WILL BE PHYSICALLY SEPARATED FROM FAMILY
MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. AIR FORCE OFFICIALS HAVE APPROVED AIR FORCE
INSTRUCTION 1-1, TO CLARIFY GUIDANCE ON AIRMEN’S RELIGIOUS RIGHTS AND COMMANDERS’ AUTHORITY
AND RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT THOSE RIGHTS. SEVERAL CHANGES WERE MADE SO BE SURE TO CHECK
THEM OUT. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, RECORDS FOR ALL AIRMEN SEPARATED OR RETIRED UNDER THE FISCAL YEAR
2014 VOLUNTARY SEPARATION PAY PROGRAM HAVE BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT ELIGIBILITY FOR TRANSITIONAL
MEDICAL BENEFITS. THAT DOES IT FOR THE HEADLINES, I’M STAFF
