hey guys this is Savannah Sanchez from common die collective I am the digital marketing manager here and I'm here to tell you about my experience at affiliate world Europe so for those of you who may not know affiliate world Europe is the largest affiliate and digital marketing conference on the continent of Europe and it was located in Barcelona and I had the unique opportunity not only to speak at their sister conference which is she commerce which is a conference just for female entrepreneurs who are starting Shopify stores and also doing digital marketing but I also was able to attend affiliate world and what I wanted to do is share my three biggest takeaways from this digital marketing conference that I think will help improve your Facebook ad account so the first biggest takeaway from the affiliate world conference is that the relationship between your designer and your ad buyer is the most crucial for success and this is something we emulate really heavily a common thread collective and our growth teams we believe that the only way through your attic how to succeed is if your designers know exactly what ads are working and how ok they can best reiterate off those concepts without that strong relationship from your ad buyer and your ad designer there's no way that they can create ads that are going to drive performance and be able to radiate off the best-performing concepts so when you're choosing your team members or choosing an agency make sure that they value that relationship as much as we do because we know that in order to unlock spend spend and scale you have to have a solid foundation between your ad fire and your designer my second biggest takeaway from affiliate world was messenger bots facebook Messenger BOTS are the latest and greatest improvement on Facebook and it's not only there to improve your customer service but also it can help your customers find products by using automation so what a flow would look like is let's say someone lands on your bot and they're looking for color suggestions or maybe they want to know a certain style or template you would program certain responses into your messenger BOTS to lead them down the funnel and ultimately to purchase facebook messenger bots are such an effective way for customer service because replies are instant so your customers are going to be able to get information super quickly as opposed to phone support or email the third biggest takeaway was Instagram story polls so I'm not sure if you guys have seen this on Instagram story but what people can do now is they can on different poll options so saying let's just say you have an ad and it does two shirts and you want a source for the question which one do you like better red or blue people can actually vote on ads now it's not only just for organic feeds anymore so what Facebook is doing to test this new product is they're actually giving you preferred delivery if you're doing Instagram story polls because it is such an it's such an interactive and organic way to advertise on Instagram stories so something we're doing a comment that collectivists information is we're heavily testing I do story polls they're super easy to make an ads manager and we've already seen a really great lift in our ID story performance and it was really clear at affiliate world that the top marketers are also utilizing polls in order to drive engagement on their ads as well as increase conversions well those are my three biggest takeaway some affiliate world please feel free to message me or put something in the comments if you have more questions about any of these tactics thank you
