Seagate Media | How to Setup and Use Dropbox


This tutorial will show you how to setup a
Dropbox cloud account, then how to access your uploaded files remotely using the Seagate
Media application. The first step is to create your Dropbox account. To begin creating your account, point your
browser to www dot dropbox.com. When the site launches, fill out the sites
new user box. When you have finished, agree to the Dropbox
terms then, click on the Sign In button. If you already have an account, you will be
prompted to enter your email address and a password. If you already have an account, you will be

device to your Seagate Wireless Plus drive, then launch Seagate Media. When the Seagate Media Home page opens, connect
to your Wi-Fi network This is required in order for you to create

on the Dropbox button. Next, enter the email address and password

Dropbox account. Tap the Allow button to continue. Dropbox can synchronize your cloud account
to your Seagate Media device which will allow you to access your files remotely. To continue, make sure the Sync All Files
and Folders and Sync Selected Dashboard buttons are in the on position. Dropbox will then sync the content from your
account to your Seagate Wireless Plus drive whenever you are connected to your drive. To remotely access the content you have uploaded
to your Dropbox account, first return to the Seagate Media home page. Then tap on the Navigation menu. When the menu opens, tap on your Seagate Wireless
Plus drive menu entry. Once the content list displays, tap on the
Dropbox folder. You will see a list of all the files and folders
you have uploaded to your Dropbox cloud account. Tap on an item’s icon to access the files
you want to open. These are all the steps required to setup
a Dropbox account and access your uploaded content from your Seagate Wireless Plus drive
