Sales | Create Infolet Filters to Focus Attention on Key Sales Information

[music] Hello. My name is Jiri. In this tutorial, I’ll show how to create the infolet view that users see by default on their home pages. You can create different views for different job roles. I start by creating a sandbox specifically for this change. I click Sandboxes in the Navigator. I click Sandboxes in the Navigator. Create my sandbox and specify Page Composer as the tool I’ll be using. I edit the Support Context and select the job role that will see my changes. I click Create and Enter. Now that I am in the sandbox, I must navigate to the page I am configuring, in this case the Home page. Next I open Page Composer by selecting Edit Pages from the Settings and Actions menu. The grey toolbar tells me that I am in Page Composer. I scroll down and make sure that I am in the infolet page I am configuring. I click on the little Infolet Repository icon and I hide the infolets I don’t want to display and select the infolets I want the users to see. Don’t worry, your list won’t be nearly as long. I can reorder the infolets by dragging them. When I am done, I click Close in the Page Composer toolbar to save my changes. And I publish the sandbox. And I publish the sandbox. To test my work I sign in as Lisa Jones, one of my sales representatives. Here are the infolets I enabled. Remember that every user can configure their own personalized view on this page using the same icon. Thank you. [Music] [music]
