  • Dear Mary, are you going to cut your pay/benefits and those of management down to what your "discarded" workers get now? I thought not.

  • Yes I agreed, I was just ready to buy a GM truck to replace my old one, but is not going to happen. I started looking at a FORD or RAM. I have a GM truck all my life not any more. May be Central America and Mexico can buy all the GM trucks. I believe in supporting American companies. Bye bye GM.

  • What becomes of the cars that don't sell after year sitting in lots sunlight fading and ageing there really not new cars anymore

  • Let TRUMP build up and run the company. And build all cars and parts in America not China, Mexico, Japan, Korea ECT.
    Look how Ford operates.

  • People in the U.S. want to blame Congress, the President, CEOs, trade policy, wages, opposition parties, etc but at the end of the day, consumers hold the ultimate power. If you are unhappy, remind GM that 70% of it's profits come from its North American sales. Most of that is U.S. sales. If they wish to continue that, they must find ways to maintain U.S. production volume. Everything they move out of the U.S., stopping buying. If they move truck production out of the U.S., stop buying trucks. The problem isn't that they can't make money in the U.S. It's that they are less profitable building here. Let them make a market choice. U.S. sales with less profit or no U.S. sales and they can find other markets to get 70% of thier profits from. If they want to build cars elsewhere, they better figure how to get those people to buy thier cars too because we won't continue to support thier sales here. Just don't expect U.S. consumers to keep providing the sales when we can't have the jobs here. Every time they move a product out, stop buying that product. Money talks louder than policy if you are willing to make your voices heard. That is the only thing they listen to so make you voice heard if you are unhappy.

  • Hey remember those government bailouts Hahahaha that will teach you to be little less charitable this Xmas also enjoy unemployment American laborers oh…. and just 1 more thing (COLUMBO) a lot of good those union reps did ya ,I bet he got a nice retirement package in Florida at the laborers expense just 4 keeping his mouth shut he's probably known 4 months

  • General motors made a decision to look towards the future with a new outlook. The workers who are losing their jobs must understand that this is a business decision, they should find other jobs like in retail or something. you cannot expect to stay at a company forever things change. These workers should adjust to these changes.
