  • Thanks for posting this. I heard this interview on the radio, bought and read the book and am starting the 5:2 diet tomorrow! 🙂

  • Started today :0) 2 scrambled eggs and a little smoked salmon. I ate it slowly and savored each morsel. Can't believe I felt full. I usually wolf my food down, if I'm honest.

  • can u really eat what u want on non fasting days? i have a little bit of annoying belly fat i would like to get rid of. Also is a calorie really just a calorie?

    in the documentary itself, He, and an Italien doctor gets in an oldschool and go for a drive. Does anybody know the track playing? A spanish/latin hymn track! ..very summerly! It would totally help my mornings getting this track! Thank you!

  • @sam h in the sense of 1800-2000 calories a day. if you over eat then no. I'm in a similar position, I'm starting tomorrow 🙂

  • I started this about a month ago and have lost about 10 lbs. (@4 kilos). I am really happy with it, as I am sustainably and easily losing 1-2 lbs a week. Isn't that just what the doctors tell you to do? The thing iof it s, in the past, whenever I have tried to lost that slowly, it nevery stayed off. A day of cheating would ruin weeks of work. On this, I really am eating what I want (including stuff no other diet would allow), and the weight stays off.

    Going to start this tomorrow! Tues and Thurs will be my fast days, only 500 calories on those days. Really hope it works, nothing seems to work for me and I have 40 lbs to drop!

    yep i agree. i know the bad fat is the reason that stopping 6 pack coming outside even we work out well. And My senior in gym daily having this secret food items to kill his belly with less excercise. get to know here :PaleoDiet.web44.net

  • I'm doing the 5:2 diet, I'm already a healthy weight and am in great physical shape so my motives are for the other benefits. I have for years had itchy,dry flaky skin on my cheeks due to dermatitis. After 2 weeks on this diet that my face is not itching and the dry skin was much better! It's been over a month now and I'm 90 % dry skin free. I've also got tonnes more energy 🙂
