Hi Rachel, Thank you for all the lessons. I would like to learn pronunciation. You channel has lot of play list on this. What is the proper sequence of play lists to learn pronunciation. Please help. Thanks in advance.
Funny! I do the same thing here too. I read only the headlines of 3 or 4 news websites.. But when I hear someone saying that she or he read about some subject I keep questioning them all about it.
I am a new student in English and I have a problem learning long words that are more than 6 letters like(Confidently.Incredible.occupation)
It's a monologue conversation!anyway,I learn a lot from you,You're simply the best, better than anyone, better than all the rest,I won't be astounded if Tina Turner meant you in her song(the best)

Hi Rachel, I watched your video "[Advanced] Ending Voiced vs. Unvoiced Consonants" made one year ago, while I'm still quite confused about when to pronounce the ending voiced s(/z/) like a short, weak, unvoiced s(/s/). I've collected a bunch of video and audio materials regarding that, I found that for most of time, people say "iz""becauze""az", while sometimes (like 10 to 20 percents), people say "is""because""as", and now that question is becoming more and more annoying for me…..so could you specify a little bit more clearly over that topic? Thank you very much.
Please teach us how to sound more like rappers, I have some black friends i wanna sound like them.
Thank you Rachel for all your efforts. I wish you hppy life.
What a prodigiously beneficial video. I have been dedicated fan of rechal's channel, and I have never felt regretful about being a part of the learning process of this channel. I am very thankful to you,Rechal!
Very nice as always.
You are the best Rachel!!! Take your glasses my lady 👓😎😂 thanks for all God bless you!!!
I even don't have any words to say thank you.You are so great.
Regarding "I read about", can "about" be unstressed? I heard that a lot. Personally I would guess it totally depends on what you want to emphasize out of a context. For example, "I read the book, and I learned that the book …", I would emphasize "read, learned" as they seem to be a sequence of actions having some relationship.
I thought over and over about a very simple sentence "i love you", and it could be stressed in many different ways from logic reasoning:(1) I love you: "I" would be stressed, if you are convincing your GF that I (not Joe) love you.(2) I LOVE you: "love" would be stressed, if you are trying to explain to your GF the intention of arguing against you yesterday is to save you from the trouble (arguing is love, and not hating you might have imaged).(3) I love YOU: "you" would be stressed, if your GF might suspect that you may have a secrate relationship with another girl.
Can that the basis of the stress in a general way? Can you help comment?
So there is no fixed pattern of tone for any given sentence?
I feel like a lot of my peers have very different intonations of talking about a same sentence under a same context. That is the most confusing and challenging part for me. All of them, are natives born in the same city, and with their unique intonations being natural.
how to explain that? and how to imitate, and from who?
Great teacher. Amazing video
Thank you Rachel I love your channel so much
Eu gostaria muito de aprender com a Rachel 's
Hi Rachel, In this sentence "…But i didnt actually read the actual thing" you said "red" instead of saying "rid" was wondering why?

Excuse me, how do you pronounce "a guiding light" in American English and British English?
Pronunciation is the foundation needed to build your English skill – just like foundations are the start of building your house – you manage to grasp this and the rest – grammar, vocabulary comes easy I am a English language teacher based in SE Asia

Eu desafio qualquer pessoa colocar o inglês nessa cabeça burra minha
Yes, very helpful Ms Rachel…thanks so much and keep going .
I don't know what happens to me that since first grade I have always fallen in love with the teacher. A friend already told me that he fell in love with a teacher on YouTube and that he insisted so much, that a producer came out and told him that she was a lady whom the army had hired twenty years ago to help improve the English of Latin Marines. So guys, suffer in silence!
