♪ I can make it all right ♪ ♪ All right ♪ ♪ All right ♪ Congratulations are in order for BTS as they’ve broken yet
another world record. On Wednesday morning the
Guinness World Records organization announced
that the K-Pop group officially holds the
title for the fastest time to reach one million followers on TikTok. And according to Tiktok,
BTS accomplished the feat in just three hours and
31 minutes after joining the social media platform
on September 25th, adding to their long list of achievements. The guys also currently hold
the record for the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours
thanks to the visuals for their hit collab with Halsey Boy With Luv, which accumulated 74.6 million
views upon its release. But wait, there’s more. In the 2020 edition of
Guinness World Records BTS makes history as the first K-Pop act to reach number one on
the U.S. albums chart, with both 2018’s Love Yourself Tear and this year’s Map of the Soul Persona. For all things BTS, keep
it locked on billboard.com. And until next time, for Billboard News, it’s your girl Jordyn Rolling. (electronic tinkling)
