Chemistry is the study of matter, but I prefer to see it as the study of… change. It is growth, then decay, then transformation. Stay out of my territory. Yeah Mr. White! Yeah Science! This… is not meth. I’ve lost my family. Everything that I care about. I didn’t marry a criminal. We agreed 50/50, partners! Partners in what? From what I can tell, you are just a pathetic junkie! I want nothing to do with you! Ever since I met you, everything I ever cared about is gone! Ruined, turned to shit, dead. Ever since I hooked up with the great Heisenberg! I have never been more alone! I HAVE NOTHING! It’s all gone. How did everything get so screwed up? We had a good run… but it’s over. Run Mr. White! RUN! No more half measures, Walter. Run. It seems to me, you have two options. Option A: you kill me right here and now. What is option B? You might want to hold off. Yeah? Why? Because your boss is gonna need me. What’d you expect me to do? Just simply roll over? That I wouldn’t take measures to defend myself? I came to realize… is that fear. That’s the worst of it. That’s the real enemy. Get up. You clearly don’t know who you’re talking to, so let me clue you in. I am NOT in danger, Skyler. I AM the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks! I have lived under the threat of death for a year now. And because of that, I’ve made choices. I alone should suffer the consequences of those choices, no one else. And those consequences… they’re coming. WHERE IS THE MONEY?! No more prolonging the inevitable. ADMIT IT! I DID NOT DO THIS! I’ll do it! Do it. I won. I have spent my whole life scared, frightened of things that could happen, might happen, might not happen. 50 years. Finding myself awake at three in the morning. But you know what? Ever since my diagnosis, I sleep just fine. All that I’ve done, the things I’ve had to do… I’ve got to live with them. All the sacrifices that I’ve made for this family, all of it, I did it for a good reason. Never give up control. Live life on your own terms. Who’s in charge? Me. That’s how I live my life. There is gold in the streets just waiting for someone to come and scoop it up. Are we in the meth business, or the money business? I’m in the empire business. You’re a time bomb tick-tick-ticking… and I have no intention of being around for the boom. I will not have my children living in a house where dealing drugs and killing people is shrugged off as “shit happens!” I’m done explaining myself. All I can do is wait. Hold on. And wait. Wait for what? For the cancer to come back. How many more people will gonna die because of us? Now that we’re in control, no one else gets hurt. You keep saying that and it’s bullshit every time! If you believe that there is hell, we’re already pretty much going there. But I’m not going to lie down until I get there. All of this falling apart is on you! You and your pride and your ego. Please tell me… how much is enough? How big that this pile have to be. I’m not coming back. I’m out. Say my name. Walter White? You got me. We’ve got new players in town. It was you… All along it was you! The lives he’s destroyed… he’s a monster. He can’t keep getting away with this! You wanna burn him down? Let’s do it together. Mr. White – he’s the devil. Step up, be a man and admit what you’ve done. You killed him… We’re a family! We’re a family… This family is everything to me. Without it, I have nothing to lose. You two suck at peddling meth, period.
