Bek Wa Goro | BA (Hons) Film and Television

The project I’ve been working on as my
major project is ‘Caribou’. If I was to break it down into one sentence it’s
basically Fargo meets London meets Sci-Fi. What it is is an African nanotech
company has set up shop in London and they’re making clothes and implanting them with this sort of nanotechnology that we don’t know what it’s capable of. It’s the
question of what impacts does this sort of technology have on humanity. I would
say BA (Hons) Film and Television is really about finding what you’re interested in doing,
that’s what the course has offered me. I’ve had a feel for filmmaking in
general but I didn’t know specifically what I wanted to do and I found that I
really liked screenwriting and so I pursued that and then I’ve gone on to
make my major project which is a two-hour pilot for a television series.
