I can relate to that going dead broke part. Been there done that and it's very true that my motivation stays on super high due to such, but also due to growing up poor. Success is merely a mind game, true success takes us to go way beyond all of our epic fails. To me getting there also spells true happiness stemming from our drive to actually succeed at anything, and everything we wish, but of course by going hard as hell to succeed in accomplishing.
I had to watch this twice to really absorb every morsel of information. Fantastic! I love the suggestion that different is better than better, and I love the advice that you should aim to be a world class human. I will definitely change my trailer to my top subscribed video!
I got burnt out on Youtube a few months back when I started just cranking out videos for the purpose of building an audience/making affiliate sales; now I've been taking time to enjoy the creative process and actually making vidoes about stuff I care about and it's much more fun!
This is amazing information. So many ah ha moments. I have been super careful about what I do so I dont offend or have people "hate me" the streamlining your content saves so much time. Yes I am big on study analytics and algorithm. He is very inspiring.
Two big take-aways 1.) "it's better to be stand out than bland… "tolerated" sucks. 2.) Delegating. Hire good people and teams for things that you know can propel, esp if not your bag. Good stuff, thank you.
Hey man, Curious did Instagram just change their algorithms ?? I see a lot of people getting way lower reach this week than they were the last couple weeks? Myself included.
What struck me in many ways was when he said, "figure out what pisses you off". Also, figure out what (your target audience) lays in bed at night thinking about. My target audience has or has a loved one dealing with chronic pain. Pain that keeps us awake at night. That gives me a ton of ideas. TY! ~Jess~
Ridiculously motivating as usual Video Influencers! Really opened my eyes on being a being a polarizing brand… that’s what I need to do to make myself stand apart.
There are hundreds of channels doing exactly what I do. I'm pretty serious about building a brand and growing my audience, so how do I 'be myself' and make my channel 'different' in such a crowded niche?
this is the best video enfluencers video i have watched so far totally random but a presentation style popped into my head this vid has really sparked thanks everyone involed fire content stay blessed
That was a fantastic interview, Sean! Thank so much!! I'm developing my YouTube Channel to inspire and help upcoming Filmmakers. Would there be a possibility for a Filmmaker/ YouTuber special guest to come onto the channel? Perhaps Film Riot or Lessons From The Screenplay as a couple thoughts.
Amazing! Its mine wish to have a mentor like you guys! I love editing but i dont know how to have someone for a mentor. Thanks for the content great motivation! Thank you guys.
Hey I have a question. I made like a 100 subs just going to other channels and telling them to check me out. Now I realise that that was a bad idea and that I have inactive subs. Should I just stick with this channel or make a new one please answer!?
Hey guys I make gaming content and could really use your help! I’ll sub if you sub for me. And leave a comment saying you did! Us creators gotta stick together 😂
Hey I would like to make you a sign out of cedar wood with your YouTube name on it in return you promote my channel. Please let me know if that’s something you will do for me. Thanks
VI or anyone who knows, I was just checking things out and wandering around on the backend of my new channel ("Decker Poker") and clicked on Status & Features. To my surprise, it says my channel is eligible for monetization. GREAT! WOOHOO! I am on the Road to Riches! Look out PewDiePie, I'm coming for you! Buuuuttttttt my channel only has 128 subscribers and 21,760 minutes. And when I click on "Learn More", it says I need 1,000 subs and 4,000 hours (240,000 minutes) to be eligible. And yet, it says I am eligible. Soooooo am I eligible if it says I'm eligible or not????????
This is a really inspiring interview with Peter Voogd. I particularly love the advice Peter gives near the end about needing to be a "world class human being." Thank you Sean for this illuminating discussion.
Dropping some truth and facts in this vid. Totally agree with Peter when he says it’s better to be loved or hated than to be tolerated. Polarizing people get folk talking and make an impact. They cut through the clutter…period. 💪🏼💯
Thanks a lot, Peter! My favorite TIP is "Be yourself, don't worry about what people think"! And hearing about NINE, your CAT! I understand your Niche, the Millennials, but I got a lot from this video at 64 years of age, just starting out! My Niche is CATS! Indoor Cats! I created The Invisible Cat Pole Exerciser and would appreciate any feedback! #CatsClimb.com
20:20 – Being a good person, first! SO inspiring! Thanks for the great vid! Your videos are helping me launch my channel to help Americans learn Spanish living in Tijuana. Great work you do!
Awesome on so many levels.. talk about keeping it real. Energy. Enthusiasm. Confidence… people are drawn to that no matter what you talk about… But I love how it very rarely comes without first going through the dark times, the failures, the opposites to those 3 words just mentioned. Peter is clearly someone who has put his nose to the grindstone and walks the walk. Nice one man.
