I’M NOT AN ECONOMIST I WANT CONTENT TO BE ONE, BUT QUESTIONS NEED TO BE ANSWERED. SOMETHING ELSE THAT I BELIEVE THAT YOU SUPPORT, MEDICARE FRAUD. WHEN YOU PULL PEOPLE, PEOPLE SAY IT SOUNDS GREAT. EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE BUT THE KAISER POLL, WHEN YOU ASKED PEOPLE HOW IT’S GOING TO BE PAID FOR, THE IMPLICATIONS OF THIS. A LIMITING PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE, IT IS UPSIDE DOWN BY NEGATIVE 21 POINTS. UPSIDE DOWN BY 23 POINTS, MORE TAXES. DELAYING TESTS OR TREATMENTS, THE AXIS PEOPLE WOULD HAVE. NEGATIVE 44% REACTION. THEY ARE NOT FOR THAT WHEN THEY DEAL WITH THE REALITY. HOW DO YOU SOLVE IT?>>I HAVE BEEN THE CEO OF A COMPANY I KNOW THAT HEALTH INSURANCE RIGHT NOW IS A MAJOR ANCHOR IN OUR ECONOMY. IT MAKES IT HARDER TO HIRE NEW WORKERS. WHEN YOU DO HIRE SOMEONE, YOU ARE INCENTIVIZED TO MAKE THEM TEMPORARY OR CONTRACT AND NOT GIVE THEM BENEFITS. IT’S HARDER TO SWITCH JOBS. IT’S HARDER TO START A BUSINESS. SO THE FACT THAT AMERICANS ARE VERY KNOW WE CAN UP TO THE FACT THAT WE CAN IMPROVE ON OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM, AND THE NOTION THAT WE CAN’T AFFORD IT OR THAT EVERYONE’S GOING OUT TO PAY MORE IN TAXES IS IGNORING THE FACT THAT WE ARE ALREADY SPENDING 18% OF GDP ON HEALTH CARE, TWICE AS MUCH AS OTHER COUNTRIES, TO WORSE RESULTS. THAT’S WHY WE ARE SO FRUSTRATED BY THE SYSTEM. IF WE TAKE THE MONEY THAT COMPANIES ARE ALREADY PLOWING INTO HEALTH CARE, WE HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO BE ABLE TO MAKE HEALTH CARE MORE ACCESSIBLE TO MORE AMERICANS AND NOT BREAK THE BANK. OR RAISE TAXES ON THE AVERAGE FAMILY.>>Shannon: HOW THE WORLD YOU PAY FOR IT? THE ESTIMATE ON SENATOR SANDERS PLAN IS $32 TRILLION. MONEY DOESN’T GROW ON TREES. SO MUCH OF THE EQUATION HAS TO DO WITH HOW THE GOVERNMENT WOULD COMPENSATE DOCTORS OR HOSPITALS AND WE KNOW THERE ARE PATIENTS WHO CAN’T GET IN WITH DOCTORS BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT PAY ENOUGH OF A REIMBURSEMENT RATE FOR A LOT OF THESE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS. DO YOU WORK ABOUT — WORRY ABOUT THE IMPACT ON HEALTH CARE, NOT JUST –>>THE NUMBER ONE FRUSTRATION IS THE EXCESSIVE BUREAUCRACY AND PAPERWORK. IF YOU SIMPLIFY THAT PROCESS, THEN THE REIMBURSEMENTS DON’T NEED TO BE ASTRONOMICAL IN THE GROUP TO MAKE A PAYOUT FOR THE DOCTOR OR THE HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. IF WE COULD CLEAN UP OUR BUREAUCRACY, IT WOULD LIBERATE MANY DOCTORS TO DO WHAT THEY WANTED TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE WHICH IS ACTUALLY CARE FOR PATIENTS.>>Shannon: WELL, I KNOW MANY ARE CONCERNED THEY’RE NOT GOING TO GET THE REIMBURSEMENT RATES.     Our current model

    prints money out of nothing.
    gives money out to produce things out of a finite non reusable resources
    demands people pay back money it gave out with interest

    So this tells me money only has the value we attach to it. It basically a honor system. You honor the dollar, i honor my work. So why couldn't we honor a different model?

    honor isnt monopolized via our current model. If we had a UBI and goverment system that honored people then perhaps people would honor each other. Now i know some will say that a UBI would ruin the creation of products. i say, when people have their basic needs met, it leaves room for higher learning. We will have more of the collective trying to solve the issues that plague us. A sword above the head isnt the only motivator for success. But the biggest question i might get is "how will we pay for this?" and i will say with a smug smile on my face " with the money we printed out of nothing. The problems we face now are a result of a system we have now. in order for us to solve it, we must move forward. if machines can do a better job, let them. let us create art, literature, and explore the universes that exist within us with each other."

    My husband is Taiwanese and I like Yang; however… this is my opinion about him. He is promising us the sun and the moon; 73 or more promises that will require Congressional approval. You can rest assure that the border will remain wide open and there will be even a greater rush across the border to get the promised free money with no strings attached; regardless of what he says about citizenship. Look at how much corruption there is with welfare. There's a lot more I could say. If it's too good to be true; it probably is and that's my honest assessment.

    Yes, America is a very unique country when it comes to innovation but if you look at history many cultures have been innovative, Especially during times of war. Both America and Germany were extremely innovative during WW2 but at what cost? None of the innovations made were worth the pain and suffering that they (the governments) inflicted on others nor was it worth the pain and suffering that they inflicted on their own citizens.

    About the investors of Big Tech; Maybe once we've all received a Freedom Dividend the bottom 90 percent of american households can buy Google, Facebook, and Uber stocks. Then Big Tech won't have to depend on their few mega investors. 84% percent of all stocks owned by Americans belong to the wealthiest 10 percent of households. It may make more sense if Big Tech was more like a crowd funded company and a small dollar donation funded politician.

    We can't trust politicians whom receive corporate donations and we can't trust major corporations whom don't listen to the people. There are pros and cons to being a publicly traded company but there are no cons when it comes to integrity with being a small dollar funded politician. The only con is if a corrupt candidate can purchase more commercials, flyers, etc than the small dollar funded candidate. And is successful in brainwashing enough americans to side with them and not with the small dollar funded candidate.

    That means that we in the bottom 90% must support these populist small dollar funded candidates. Andrew Yang is a small dollar funded candidate. We can trust him far more than any corporate funded president from 1976 onward.

    Ever wonder why every president has failed us? It's because of money in politics.

People on both sides need to stop being purest and support the candidate that is focused on helping all americans. Yes, Even the billionaires. Even they will see the benefit of the Freedom Dividend when their customer base skyrockets.

    i have been poor before, $1000 is a life line, most people will still need work, $1000 isnt enough to support a family, but an extra $1000 will help tremendously in terms of medicare, home repairs, utilities…

    I really like his plans but it seems very directly naive because the big corporations will intellectually find a way resist his innovative ideas. Eventually his plans will most likely delay then ultimately fail which will create a huge disgrace mark in the Asian history.
