North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visits China
one more time, reportedly at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. During the four-day visit, Kim is expected
to hold talks with Xi, and denuclearization issues are among expected discussion topics. President Moon Jae-in names a new chief of
staff. The South Korean leader also replaces his
top secretaries for political affairs and public relations. Seoul keeps its current account surplus streak
alive in November, but the size of the surplus slides to its lowest level since last April. Slower export growth is seen as the key factor,
after the WTO forecasts a slowdown in global trade expansion.
